Thursday, January 18, 2018, marks the third annual Leadership Rockland Day and the beginning of the application period for the Class of 2019, which runs from September 2018 through June 2019. The deadline for submitting applications is April 1, 2018.
The Class of 2019 will mark the 29th in program history.
Dan Weisberg, Chair of Leadership Rockland, commented, “The Leadership Rockland program is perfect for anyone who truly cares about Rockland County and wants to get a deeper understanding of how the various components within the county operate. No matter what your vocation may be or your knowledge of the many aspects of the county, there are undoubtedly areas where you may never have traveled or have had the opportunity to peek inside. We open the door for you to get that glimpse inside and to gain a higher level of understanding, which you can then utilize to make Rockland a better place to live and work for yourself, your family and your community.”
This year will mark the first time that there are tuition discounts available to accepted class members. If prospective class members complete their application package by March 1st, they will receive a tuition discount, if accepted into the program.
